Anna is finally allowed to rest in peace with her son Daniel in the Bahamas! They pulled it together and had a beautiful service and burial for her! One that she would have truely loved! Howard’s speach was amazing and powerful..you could feel his broken heart and anger for the way everyone betrayed Anna…and he vowed to protect her and Daniel for eternity! Thank god Anna had someone like Howard in her life! People can say what they want about him, call him an enabler, whatever..in my eyes he was one of the very few true friends that woman had in her life! What’s been making me so angry…Is her mother, with her final attempt to stop the funeral..the morning of her funeral! It’s clear that all Virgie Arthur wants is the baby so that she can have the money…she abused Anna…do you really think that their gonna give her DannieLynn?…nope! At least not while Howard’s still breathing! I’m proud of Anna for making it clear in her life how she hated her mother so that now, in her death, her mother can’t try to fabricate their relationship and make it seem as if they were really closer than they were! Because if Anna hadn’t been so public with it; it would all really just be hear say! Another thing: her desperate attempt to bring Daniel’s father into the picture and have Daniel exumed and taken to Texas..so that maybe Howard would exume Anna and bury her there too! That man hasn’t even seen Daniel since he was like 2 and never wanted him-much less never paid a dime in child support! She’s lucky that Howard was actually nice and went against Anna’s wishes and allowed her to set eyes on DanieLynn, and she was crying because he wouldn’t let her touch the baby…that’s because Anna said over and over again that ” that woman will never be allowed to touch my baby, the way she touched me!” And Howard respected that! Hopefully that woman will just go back to her miserable life in Texas and let Anna and Daniel rest in peace! I’m believing that Howard and Larry are gonna come together and figure out what’s best for the baby..she’s only 6 months old, so it’s not too late for her to have a normal life…I certainly hope whoever raises her reminds her of all of her mother’s great qualities and fills her with all the love that Anna possessed so deeply! Anna was a beautiful person.. just like Marilyn Monroe!

Shiver I have been dying this past week…I mean literally can’t freakin’ move! Fever, chills, my whole body hurts! I’ve got so much to write about but figured I would try to give a little of my own remedies for this devil that’s been making so many people miserable….it’s been shutting down entire schools and spreading around like crazy! It drains every bit of energy and makes life a living hell! Of course, there’s no quick remedy…you just really have to tough it out…but there are a few things you can do to help ease some of the pain and pressure! For the body aches and fever: the best thing you can do is take a nice, long very warm seltzer bath with some Lavender Batherapy…it helps with the aches and pain and will help you relax and sweat out that fever! You can get it pretty much anywhere….you can also use Epsom Salt! If you feel anything like I do…a bath is the last thing you feel like doing; but you will feel much better! TheraFlu works wonders…drink it every 4 hours…it helps with the pain and pressure of your pounding head! Also, Mucinex.. if your chest sounds like a freight train, it will break all that shit up and you’ll breathe better and get all that phlem out so that it doesn’t turn into pneumonia! It’s been a week and I’m still consumed with it…but my regimine seems to be easing it up a bit! I truely feel for everyone out there with this shit…I’ve never felt this horrible in my life…and I’ve had 3 kids! So much for that Flu shot…I’ve known 3 people who’ve gotten it and still caught the Flu! Good luck…and your gonna need lotts of it!

oprah-winfrey-school-opens-1-3-07.jpg

It all started with Oprah sitting down with Nelson Mandela and discussing building a school for the underprivelidged girls of South Africa…and now all the hard work and dedication has paid off! They recently celebrated the opening with lots of celebrities including Mariah Carey, Alicia Keyes, Chris Tucker and sooo many others! Oprah is wonderful for opening up the gateway for these girls to dream and succeed…I’m proud of her for all she’s done! Now with that having been said…what about all the boys in South Africa? There is so much rape and violence instilled in these young boys because they often have no guidance! These boys are just as underprivelidged and they deserve an education as well! Their motto for the school came from one little girls answer to the question “why do you want to come to this school?” She replied, “Education is my tomorrow”…I must say that reading through my “O” Magazine, I felt really excited for these girls….yet tremendously sad for the boys and even the girls who won’t have a chance to attend any school at all! But I know Oprah must have something more in the works! At least I hope so for the sake of so many other very deserving children! Like Chris Rock said, “I hope they build a school for boys so these girls will have nice and educated men to marry!”
