Recently Oprah’s Angel Network completed it’s latest project; a school in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, which was a disaster, the children had very little supplies, were forced to use bricks as their desks, and like so many others had no uniforms to even attend school! With only 2 million American dollars they turned that school into one that these children can’t wait to attend everyday, they provided them with uniforms and supplies! So many others joined in and donated computers with internet access, updated resources for the teachers, now more than 1,000 boys and girls can attend this Seven Fountains Primary School and get the education that they all so desperately dream about and truely deserve! The greatest part was that The Angel’s network trained and hired the local people from all the surrounding areas to take part in building the school; everything from the bricks to making the see-saw’s act not only as playground equipment, but water pumps as well! It helped so many families work and earn money to provide for their families; where work is so hard to come by in such poverty stricken conditions! Oprah’s Angel Network has built a total of 59 schools around the world so far; including 7 in Afganistan…and Oprah claims that her work has only just begun! Oprah definately deserves so much credit for spreading this important message “Education is the key to success” and making so many dreams come true…that’s what I mean by her being dedicated to changing the world…one dream at a time!

It’s hard to believe all this negative attention Oprah is recieving for giving these children the hope for a brighter future and the education they need to fulfill their dreams. These children wander around day to day; hungry, sick with no medication, often no parents, schools are practically unheard of there: only dreamed about! It’s really just so sad to see the suffering on their faces; pain is all they know! I’m so proud of people like Oprah who have opened our eyes to these poverty stricken countries, when so many others would rather not talk about it and pretend it doesn’t exist…and not only that: she’s dedicated her life to changing theirs! On another note: Oprah was once one of those poor and broken little girls; look at her now..she never stopped dreaming! How could anyone ridicule her for her giving back to gracious children who are so appreciative and eager to learn? It’s pure ignorance! Children here have always had the opportunities of education and even the considered “low-class” family has the chance everyday to rise above what they have and work for a brighter, more secure future! Without people like “Mama Oprah” these children would have no hope what-so-ever for a brighter future! If people would really educate themselves on her and all she’s done they would come to realize she’s done so much here at home as well! Besides, it’s her money…she’s worked extremely hard her entire life to get to where she’s at today..she deserves every damn bit of what she’s got…and she can spend it however she desires! I love and admire her greatly for all she’s given back…and this is coming from a white girl! I can only hope that Oprah soon gets the admiration and support that she deserves from everyone..I’m very angered by the ignorance..it’s just rediculous! However, so proud to know Oprah’s strength and dedication to these children’s future will keep her moving forward; giving each and everyone of them the opportunity to dream!

I find it pretty hard to believe seeing how Oprah has always been his number one fan. We all know how she loves Tom Cruise! I can’t help but wonder how she’s feeling about this. Sources say “Limited seating”..Come on it’s Oprah! I bet she’s really heartbroken! And Oprah being the kind of beautiful and giving person she is she’s still gonna send a gift. Tom and Katie should really be ashamed of themselves for being so inconsiderate! Who knows with all the media attention maybe they’ll find an extra seat!
