It all started with Oprah sitting down with Nelson Mandela and discussing building a school for the underprivelidged girls of South Africa…and now all the hard work and dedication has paid off! They recently celebrated the opening with lots of celebrities including Mariah Carey, Alicia Keyes, Chris Tucker and sooo many others! Oprah is wonderful for opening up the gateway for these girls to dream and succeed…I’m proud of her for all she’s done! Now with that having been said…what about all the boys in South Africa? There is so much rape and violence instilled in these young boys because they often have no guidance! These boys are just as underprivelidged and they deserve an education as well! Their motto for the school came from one little girls answer to the question “why do you want to come to this school?” She replied, “Education is my tomorrow”…I must say that reading through my “O” Magazine, I felt really excited for these girls….yet tremendously sad for the boys and even the girls who won’t have a chance to attend any school at all! But I know Oprah must have something more in the works! At least I hope so for the sake of so many other very deserving children! Like Chris Rock said, “I hope they build a school for boys so these girls will have nice and educated men to marry!”

Last week the Florida court spent several days deliberating where Anna Nicole Smith was going to be laid to rest…Nevermind her having already purchased a plot for herself next to Daniel in the Bahamas!  Now I must say…it was a mess! The whole thing completely irrevelant to the case presented before the court: simply to unveil where Anna wished to be laid to rest! Everyone who paid any attention to Anna at all would know how much she lived for Daniel..and for her to bury Daniel in the Bahamas and buy a second plot right next to his would know and understand that it was meant for her! And that’s the bottom line…they took it so far as to see videos and try to determine if she was impared in any way and accuse her of being heavily under the influence and so on! They just kept on falling so far off course it was really driving me mad!  I mean what did they really need the lawyers present for? The judge asked the witnesses questions during the cross examinations..if it wasn’t heading in the direction he thought it should be..he would interrupt and often have the lawyers take a seat and he would take over…the lawyers were constantly reminding the judge of the laws and advising him what direction to take…it was like a circus! I watch Court t.v. all the time and have never seen a courtroom that was so out of control…it was like being in a conference…there wasn’t any structure at all! OK…this whole hearing was to determine where Anna Nicole wished to be buried..and the judge wanted to follow out her wishes..well his frustrations came from 3 major parties, who all claimed to have loved and respected her so much, her mother Virgie, who Anna clearly hated..since she left from her abusive life when she was 15 years old! She wanted to take Anna back to Texas..Anna left there for a reason…she hated it! Larry Birkhead was sympathetic to the fact that Anna wished to be with Daniel, although she had always told him her wishes were to be buried in the same cemetary as Marilyn Monroe! And then there was Howard, her best friend for well over 10 years and her partner, who, of course was fighting for her wishes to be carried out and that she be laid to rest with Daniel! Well the judge finally gave his very emotional verdict on Thursday..that she be buried in the Bahamas with Daniel! Now Anna’s estranged mother has filed an appeal, claiming that she should be recognized as Anna’s next of kin, nevermind DanielLynn, and that she should have the right to bury her daughter in Texas! Anna hated her mother and Texas; she clearly hasn’t seen her or had any relations with her in 15 years! The bottom line is, and for Anna’s sake, I hope this is what they look at…when someone buys a burial plot, that’s where they wish to be laid to rest! Reguardless of all the circumstancial evidence these people claim they have that should be acknowledged…Anna bought Daniel’s plot in the Bahamas and she purchased her’s at the same time right beside his…that’s where she wants to be buried! Please lay her to rest…and let that woman be with her son! They wasted an entire week last week and now this week, as well! If her mother really loved her, as she claims to, she would know that Anna needs to be with Daniel!

Late Tuesday night, after spending the day at home doing a photo shoot–Paris Hilton went out to The Virgin Mega Store in West Hollywood to buy some DVD’s…probably just trying to be a good girl and stay home and have movie night! Instead, as she was leaving the record store, driving down Sunset Blvd. she was pulled over for failing to use her headlights! She was driving her beautiful, blue Bentley Continental—-A couple hundred grand for a car and the headlights don’t even come on automatically?! That’s crazy! Well it turns out that she was driving on a suspended license..probably stemming from her alcohol related reckless driving charge..last year! Remember she was arrested…and only received a couple years probation, fines and alcohol education courses?! Celebrities..they can pay and get out of anything! Well obviously she lost her license as well…although her publicist, Elliott Mintz, claimed neither of them knew of the suspension! Being the celebrity that she is, she had a friend pick her up, was given a ticket for the misdemeanor charge and was able to go home and watch her movies! The toughest part had to be watching them tow away her beautiful car!  How about this picture of her..she looks great with short hair…Sexy!
