Just as the stories involving Nicole started to die down to some degree she gets busted in the middle of the night driving up the off ramp, in the wrong direction, entering the freeway! Under California law, anyone caught driving under the influence has to do a mandatory sentence of at least 5 days in jail. Not to mention the hefty fine, possible probation and loss of driving priviledges..which probably wouldn’t be such a bad idea for lots of celebs! Although, Nicole claims she had only one shot of vodka mixed with some Vicoden, she was obviously too impared to be driving at all! I don’t quite understand why celebrities won’t call a driver under these circumstances. They know the consequences all too well..and that every little move they make is scrutinized by the ever so present paparozzi! It’s only fair that she recieves the mandatory sentence, not only to enforce the law but to make a statement as well. Celebrities should, under no circumstances, be held accountable for their actions just as much as anyone else! All too often, celebs are allowed to pay their way out of breaking the laws, which doesn’t say alot about our justice system! If every state had this mandatory jail sentence for DUI we would probably have alot more people using designated drivers and alot less fatalities on the highway!
Star Jones looks fabulous! It really shouldn’t matter how she lost the weight as long as she’s proud of herself..even Gastris ByPass surgery isn’t a easy and effortless solution! It’s questionable that she chose to do that, but it’s her business! She only made people wonder and doubt her even more when she wouldn’t give clear answers and made it seem as though she was ashamed and hiding something! Something about her reminds me of Nicole Richie! Maybe it’s just that they both lost alot of weight too quickly! But Star Jones, in my opinion, has never looked so great..but please don’t lose anymore weight! I would like to see her come back out shining like the star that she is and show off her stunning new look..and just smile and let everyone talk as they wish!
It’s too soon for Britney to be steppin’ out in public with her new man! What is she thinking? She’s not even legally seperated yet.. she needs to be really careful! She hasn’t been portraying her image in a positive light since she’s been single! Moving on is wonderful for her, but another man should be the last thing on her mind! Especially with all she has at stake here..let’s don’t forget that kevin is fighting for full custody of the children, and she’s giving him some grounds to have a shot at winning if she doesn’t straighten up! I believe evidence of her current lifestyle is going to surface in the courtroom during her divorce and custody battle! If she doesn’t start changing some of her ways..she’s not going to have a solid case against Kevin. She claims she left because of his partying but look at her! She deserves to have fun as much as anybody but she needs to be a little more responsible..and more aware that the cameras are in her face with every move that she makes!
